Start free on any job, no card needed. When you're ready, paid plans make the record permanent.
The job record, photos, and agreed scope are all timestamped and stored the moment you create them. If a client refuses to sign, that refusal is part of the record. You still have documented proof of what was agreed and what was completed. The verification link still exists. A missing signature is not the same as a dispute won.
Free records are real and fully functional. The difference is how long they last. Free records are stored for 60 days. If a client comes back three months later claiming the work was never done, Free has nothing left to show them. Paid records are permanently anchored and can never be altered by anyone — including us.
The Free tier already handles a few months — three jobs, full features, no card required. Handyman is for contractors who've felt the value and want permanent records on every job going forward. If you're not ready to commit annually, stay on Free until you are.
Processing fees cover the cost of card and bank payments through our payments partner.

There is no cap on card fees on any plan. The $5 cap applies only to bank/ACH transfers on Pro and Shield plans.
No. Once a record is anchored, it's written to a public ledger that nobody controls — not your client, not you, not us. We don't have an edit button. That's the point.
